Praethorian Empire
The Praethorian Empire controls most of the known galaxies. They achieved this through the military conquest of said galaxies and the annexation of the species living there. Although there is some resistance from the side of the other races, no one to this day managed to pose a significant threat to the techological and economical advanced Empire.
Structure
At the top of the Empire stands the president. He holds much power, but without the High Council, which stands right beneath him, he can't do much. The High Council is composed of the representatives of the Galactic Senates, the Supreme Leader of the Military and several ministers. Their power spreads across the whole Empire. Beneath the High Council stand the Galactic Senates. They are composed of their one representative and the representatives of the Sector Councils from their relative galaxies. Their power spreads across their relative galaxy. Beneath the Galactic Senates stand the Sector Councils. They are composed of their one representative and the representatives of the planetary governments of their relative Sectors. They control their relative Sector.
Culture
The Praethorian Empire has a very militaristic shaped culture. Ideals like discipline and order stand at the very core of the nation. This gets to a degree, that basic military training is part of the centrel education system, so that every young Praethorian receives it. Their most popular sport are also arena fights, where two combatants (or two teams of compatants) fight each other in one of many different arena settings (with their technology it is possible to do these arena fights under very realistic conditions, but without any of the combatants dying).
Besides this, technology, science and the discovery of the unknown also play a big role in the Praethorian culture.

Public Agenda
The Praethorian Empire seeks to bring peace and order to the universe.
They want to accomplish this by integrating all other intelligent species into the Empire.

Assets
With multipe galaxies under their control the Empire has almost unlimited resources at their disposal, which is not only seen in their military might, but also their economic strength. Since the fall of the old Empire there never really was a time of economic recession. Of cause there were times when the economy didn't really grow as fast as before, but nevertheless it always grew.
