About the Project

The Knight Cycle is a planned trilogy of Space Opera novels, following ex-special forces and cybernetically enhanced soldier Alexis Knight on her journey to discovering one of the universe's deepest secrets that may determine the outcome of existence as we know it.   The Knight Cycle draws influence from the likes of Mass Effect, Firefly, Startrek and the Wayfarers series and is set against a colourful backdrop of the Milky Way with more than seven different, deeply developed alien species. This is an ongoing, long-term literary project that also features visual development.

BOOK ONE: Aphelion

It’s the year 2172. Alexis Knight - former leader of the Special Operations Squad Manticore, returns to rebuild her unit after it was decimated in an incident that landed her in a coma. During a mission gone wrong, Knight finds out things in the United Sol System Military aren’t as they seem and the corporate entity who was not only responsible for her re-deployment, but rebuilding her into a cyborg soldier - has major plans to over-throw the Sol Systems government and her stolen memories are key to finding out why.   Now branded a deserter, Knight must look to help elsewhere in the Galaxy. She teams up with the diverse crew of the freelancer ship the Keremeos in order to take down the head of Scion Industries and clear her name. The more she digs however, the more is revealed and it might be more than the future of Humanity at stake …
