Anatomy

Lamasins have multiple stomachs and can digest cellulose much the same way a cow or deer does. They have smooth skin and graceful limbs, their ears taper to points at the top corners. Their skin ranges from earthen brown to a tawny brown. They possess large pupils, granting acute and detailed vision. Their limbs are fairly strong and combined with their grace and excellent vision, they are some of the best archers in existence.

Ecology and Habitats

Lamasins are rarely ever found outside the forests that they wander. They protect their forests against any intruders that they deem are causing to much damage to the trees and wildlife.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Though elves are perfectly capable of digesting meat, they refuse to as a matter of principle. They are perfectly content eating leaves and grass.

Social Structure

Lamasins wander around forested lands in tribes of up to 50. The groups are about 50% male and 50% female. There is no true leader. The group usually feels as though they should travel in a certain direction. This feeling guides them to sources of good food, clean water, or intruders who must be dealt with. The Lamasins say that the spirits of the forest guide them and it is bad to not follow them.
Lamasins do not mate for life.

Lamasins can be found in most woodlands on the islands of Arulian (Continent), Franz (Continent), Jae (Continent), and Nie-eek (Continent).

Lamasins refuse to eat any kind of meat, but will ingest animal byproducts if they can be gathered without harming the animal. They will also never use any part of an animal or metal for tools or weapons.
