The Church
Following the The New Vatican's construction on Luna, many Christian denominations unified under Pope Leo XVI as "The Church." With organized religion's massive decline in subscribers following the commercialization of artificial general intelligence, The Church began taking drastic measures to attempt to gain following, launching what some considered to be publicity stunts. The most controversial of all the new organization's edicts, created by Pope Alexander IX, saw the formation of The Inquisition; an extremely well trained and equipped centurion of elite warriors.
Structure
Although vocational positions maintain the same nomenclature as the earliest iterations of their predecessory fore bearers, a dramatic shift in power dynamics has led the position of Pope to have nearly unlimited power within legal parameters of The United Nations of the Earth and Moon.
