Ashton Point is a predominantly Human town. They have however recently voted to start accepting non-humans for permanent residence.

Government

Ashton Point is run by a council of 5 prominent citizens. There are no annual elections, with each councilman serving as long a term as they wish. When they do dicide to step down, then a democratic election is held to fill the seat.

Defences

A large wall encircles the town, guarded by 7 watchtowers.
All men over the age of 20 are conscripted into the town guard and serve a total of 2 days a month to patrolling. All women are allowed to join, but doing so is completely voluntary.

Industry & Trade

While the farmlands surrounding Ashton Point grow a multitude of crops, their chief export is Wheat Flour and Corn Meal.
