Physical Description
Body Features
His body is meticulously kept and cared for, the soft sheen of his hair and nails under even gentle candlelight gives evidence to his well-kept for appearance. The raven locks gather around his shoulders in lazy, loose ringlets. His ears resemble elves with one noticeable difference, they point parallel to his shoulders and away from his head rather than the sharp diagonal angle his appearance would normally suggest.
In his hybrid form, his elvish ears are replaced by a pair of feline ears atop his head. His tail is a little over half the length of his body and is covered in the short fur his ears are, which both match the color as his hair. Upper and lower canines are noticeably more prominent. Sharp, hard, black claws form on his fingers and toes. The feral features contrast in an interesting way with his softer elvish features to create a unique combination.
Facial Features
The sharp feline eyes tend to draw the most attention on his comely face. Brilliant gold irises filled with a light of varying intensity frame the tall slitted pupils. In his elvish appearance he looks similarly to most elves in terms of general structure, though he lacks the sharp angular features normally attributed to their race. Most may comment that he looks too elvish to be a half-elf, but the obvious differences keep him from being thought of as an elf. The weight his gaze carries can often be felt as he rarely blinks, but the intensity behind it can feel as if he is looking through you as he carefully notes every movement you make.
Identifying Characteristics
Nerifes has three piercings where an earlobe would normally be in his elvish form, two in his left and one in his right. What draws the most attention in his silhouette would be the different shape to his ears than the elves he otherwise looks similar to.
Physical quirks
He rarely blinks and when he does it almost seems forced, but those who are around him often start to notice more. He often mimics gestures and body language of those around him, though it seems a bit unnatural for him because it mimics how the source-individual does it rather than his own natural version.
Special abilities
While inexperienced on a larger scale compared to most, Nerifes was born with an inherent connection to the world around him. This was a problem at first because his surroundings reacted to his emotions and he was not always calm and in control. Anger would often lead to strong gusts of wind and things drawing his frustration catching fire, the drinks of those who irritated him freezing solid in their cup, or other mishaps of elemental nature. Plants have always grown well in the areas he likes to frequent. Practice and self-control brought himself and his powers to a manageable state.
Apparel & Accessories
His closet carries an array of clothing from exotic clothing from his home realm and a few additions he has picked up during his time in Draelyn. His jewelry changes between mithril, gold, and silver depending on what he is wearing.
Specialized Equipment
Lily’s arrival brought Nerifes a great many of his things from home. Noticeably, the small seed he carries on him, before going into battle it sprouts and the petals gently float around him. He never carries much aside from the pouch containing his medical supplies and residuum, or anything he absolutely needs.

He doesn’t have a lot of the preconceptions others may gain from society. Nerifes is attracted to any gender from any race that piques his interest. His preferences and interests change as often as the tides.
Education
He awoke to a lot of functional abilities even if he doesn’t understand how it all worked out, but he learned to control his power from his eldest brother and was trained extensively as a healer and about the flora and fauna of the world.

Mental Trauma
Nerifes is always cautious, particularly around people he doesn’t know, and he doesn’t process overly emotional stimuli well. He does react unfavorably, however, when people mention mixed blood negatively.
Intellectual Characteristics
He mostly learns by observation, trial-and-error, or by study of the material. He is more likely to rely on past experiences of himself, or others, rather than take a leap of faith. Those around him may believe he is slow to act, but those who know him well understand that he perceives time differently. He considers the long term rather than short. While he can be impulsive, his caution tends to lead the way.
Morality & Philosophy
Like most fey, Nerifes operates by a set of rules most do not understand without time and experience. Those who converse with him in more than passing would realize that he speaks of many things as if they were games, or cast in the same win/lose light.

He stares a lot, even if he doesn’t mean to. Some of his primal behaviors are seen as odd by others, such as acquiring scents if they are unaware of his keen sense of smell.

Motivation
Being the youngest of many, he often has the typical complex of a youngest child. He feels success and failure more strongly than most, and generally feels beneath notice of those around him.
He’s always interested in studying the new species and races around him as well as taking time to notice the general floral and fauna of the world. The Iron Suns may note that he is rarely found in any one place and he sometimes disappears for hours during the day, but often appears eerily when needed. He doesn’t seem to be particularly motivated by money, or fame. If anything, his actions betray wanting a place to put down roots and create a home.

What many consider day-to-day normal things are outside of his skill set, but Nerifes is exceptionally apt when it comes to his interests and natural born talents, a signal of his upbringing. Ultimately, his abilities are very polarized with few things lying between.
Likes & Dislikes
He likes to play pranks on others, or create situations for his own amusement. Dislikes are often case-by-case aside from select and vocalized ones, such as flat out lying of which he has done once since coming to the mortal realm much to his displeasure. Sweets and the finer things appeal to him, and he dislikes dogs, filth, and what he deems a betrayal.
Vices & Personality flaws
Nerifes rarely forgets, or forgives, a slight without a proper recompense. He may be skilled at reading people, but empathy lies mostly beyond his understanding and as often as those around him fail to understand the way he thinks, he feels the same way of them.
On the darker side of cautious comes distrust. He rarely trusts people until a bond of some substance has been formed, even if others around him do he won’t let his guard down until he knows that it is safe to do so.
Personality Quirks
Nerifes himself is not wholly expressive unless his mask of composure slips. Those who pay attention may notice that his feline features, or the glow of his eyes, often betray his feelings.
Hygiene
Unless a situation demands it, he is excessively clean with scented clothes. He often smells of the medicinal herbs and flowers he cares for which are often pleasing.

Religious Views
Even if you were to monitor him without rest for weeks, you would never catch him doing anything remotely resembling religious practices. Though if you were to ask him, he would say that he likes Corellon and the tenets of magic and art.
Social Aptitude
Rarely one to engage in a conversation on his own without a reason in mind, his eloquence is oddly matched with oddities when speaking the common tongue. Idioms and figurative language are often taken literally. His true social skill lies in his insightfulness, it is difficult to hide things from him or misrepresent what is there. The skill he does have for speaking comes solely from his ability to read the other and glean what information he needs to get the upper hand.
Hobbies & Pets
Not requiring the length or type of sleep needed by most, Nerifes spends a lot of time observing the world around him, the people, plants, and animals within it. He can sometimes be found reading in odd places, always medicinal, herbology, anatomy, or animology. If lucky, the Suns might catch him watching them do even the most mundane tasks, such as polishing their armor.
Speech
Xyon would recognize his accent when they speak elvish. When speaking common Nerifes sounds very foreign with many of the same pronunciation rules from elvish being applied to common words and grammar.
