The Interference Proclamation

Shortly after stealing the throne of Kaldaria, Marcius Lesnar drafted a series of letters that were published in numerous papers, and sent to various influential members of the the human kingdoms. These letters stated Marcius alleged claim to the kaldari throne, his reasons for committing regicide against his brother, and openly criticized what Lesnar saw as an oppressive and invasive level of Alvain influence.

These terms were unacceptable to of the elder species, who had served as stewards over Alwaus since long before the kaldari ever left the Asotorian Riverbed. The terms of this proclamation stirred up a level of anti-alvain animosity across nearly every cultured species on the continent. Within a the year the first skirmishes would begin, before all out war being declared between the two species in what would later be referred to as The Inheritance War.
