The most populous of the Major Races if Alwaus, humans can be found in nearly ever corner of the continent and surrounding island chains. Showing up in Alwaus only a few millenia ago, humans quickly rove to prominence and prestige. They made quick friends with Alvain of Alvantes, and for a time enjoyed a golden age of innovation and development under their leadership.
Ultimately however, Humanity's ambition got the best of them. A group of radicals rose up in the East and took up arms against the other members of their species who still supported the Alvain. A decade of total war tore the continent apart, quickly forcing the other races of the world to take sides in the conflict. In the end, several factors compounded against the rebels and their forces were crushed by the newly formed Eternal Empire.

Uses, Products & Exploitation
No other race in Alwaus can hold a light to the prowess humans display in agriculture. They took immediately to the teachings the Alvain brought them in the race's infancy, and the Alvain are now almost entirely dependent on the crop yields brought in by human farmers.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Tenacious and adaptable, humans flourish in nearly every terrain and climate on Alwaus. In particular, they dominate the islands chains that surround the continent, as most of the other races see searfaring as an impractical and dangerous endeavor.

Due to the race's close physiology to that of the Avlain, it is common to see human fashion trends to attempt to accentuate the human features that are most similar to the Alvain.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Humanity has a tense relationship with the Alvain. While many stayed loyal to the Alvain during the war, the scars left behind have left many in Alvantes wary of future human ambitions even centuries after armistice.
After only a few ventures after developing agriculture, Humanity had decimated the Farrow populations that used to flourish in the areas they now inhabited. Tensions between the two races are so bad now that both often attack at first sight.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
The majority of Humans have a soft pink or peach skin tone, with variances leaning to copper and tan in hotter climates. Humans in the summer islands to the far east are even said to have skin as dark as ebony.
