”Melinda, can you hear me?” The man crouched behind an upturned car and looked at the audience questioningly, microphone in hand, “Are we getting through?” He hunched down as something exploded loudly. The scene became a blur of motion lines, showing the ground when it was steady again.
”The signal's going through on our side,” a different voice said. This person sounded younger, more scared, “but for all we know, the station's gone.”
”Jeff, camera on me.” The man admonished. “So long as our signal's going something, you keep filming.”
