Once a scientifically advanced Hive Mind that connected The Hallowed Expanse with it's rift-gates, The Golden Horde collapsed shortly after The Great Frost. Birthed from the Tree of Life Akroasis on Merus, the collective sought to bring unite the galaxy with the expansion of luscious gardens, scientific enlightenment, and interconnectivity.
Supplying many of its plantoid drones with limited consciousness to allow for greater diversity of thought and creative ambition, led to occasional issues with compliance. The separation of the research drone Razael from the collective and following rise of the Knights of the Blighted Blade ultimately led to the once great mind's collapse.
