Kho'a'zul (Ko)

Kho'a'zul's family was part of a community of Scur'iek that existed near a portal to The Ether. They lived in relative peace and harmony for centuries. But, one day the portal was torn asunder and the armies of the Seraph swept through the idyllic home of his people.

His people were no strangers to war and oppression, having fought for their freedom generation after generation against the vile Illithids. The Scur'iek joined the fight against the Seraph across the Great Expanse, proving to be valuable warriors against the swarm that threatened all of existence.

Kho'a'zul had a natural affinity to the Aether and technology that fueled his people's already strong connection to the arcane. He developed those skills as an agent of espionage, making a living uncovering information and secrets that people had hidden away with Technomancy or digitally.

Eventually, he found himself working with a group known as Malae's Dream. A collective that preserved the knowledge of the Great Wyrm (Cosmic-Dragon), Malae and the fight against the Seraph. Kho'a'zul lent his skills to the group as an elite Technomancer, helping them find ancient secrets, and on occasion, groups aligned against the Dream.

A few months back, the sanctuary/museum that served as the home of Malae's Dream was effectively destroyed by some internal catastrophe (CC: One Shot: The Tomb of Dreams Report). There were rumors of sabotage and betrayal, but Kho'a'zul found himself escaping to the Orion.

On the Orion he was one of many refugees that were corralled into the slums and ghettos of the space-city (The Scurvy Yard). It wasn't long before Kho'a'zul was noticed by another former refugee that made their home in the underworld of the Orion,Jinx.

Jinx took Kho'a'zul in as a member of their growing gang and over the past few months Kho'a'zul has proven to be a worthwhile addition to the organization. He enjoys a certain amount of freedom to freelance in between jobs for Jinx.
