History

Mary Copeny was the daughter of a legendary clean-water activist. Mary was a scientist and professor at the Commonwealth Institute of Technology who specialized on water purification technology. When she returned to her hometown of Flint, The Great War had turned her hometown into an inhospitable marshland. However, architecture and factory districts remained intact. Most importantly, the Michigan Nuka Cola factory remained. Mary Copeny along with other survivors put their knowledge and resources to convert the old soda factory into a water purification plant.
