The Explorer's Guild

Structure

The explorer's guild has a council of the most experienced explorers of the entire guild, they help decide on important rules of the guild and the base price of certain missions and such, along with assigning jobs within the guild to recruit and to organize new guild houses.
The ranking within the guild is entirely based on merit, and new recruits start out at the bottom. As they complete more work, they gain the title of journeyman, allowing them to take higher earning but more dangerous work. After that level, you come to adventurer, the second highest level, after many missions and trials. Finally, the highest rank one can receive is explorer, something which is decided by the council if a adventurer matches the idea of a true explorer, a person always willing to help those in need, to go out and discover the world, and help guide the guild to long term success.

Public Agenda

The explorers guild's primary job is to help the population in the golden frontier, doing odd jobs and exploring the world. Their mandate is to discover the world, but keep the people safe from the dangers of this new world

Assets

The guild has a lot of members, ranging from lowly recruits to heroic adventurers who are incredibly powerful. On top of all this, it is very wealthy, having a multitude of assets and even having an entire building for the guild itself, and being able to afford good equipment for everyone that signs up. Its also able to afford transporting more experienced recruits from the Imperium and bringing them over to the Golden Frontier to bolster their forces.

History

As Grenile began expanding and exploring the golden frontier, it found itself getting stunted and stuck, being unable to develop and move forward due to difficulties with lack of knowledge of the area and wildlife, and diplomacy with locals, This is where the explorer's guild was born, with adventurers taking up all the dirty jobs to help ensure the survival of the colonies, fighting off wildlife, exploring and finding new resources, and acting as diplomats with local people. Perhaps the most influential of these adventurers were the group known as the wagon gang, a large group of adventurers who joined together and helped save the colony and explore much of what is known so far of the Golden Frontier. 
As time went on, and the guild earned more money, it became much larger and more professional, able to recruit more people and become much more powerful overall. It now has a main head quarters in newcitis, the explorer's hall, where the hall of guidance is located, where the most important members of the guild meet to discuss the guild and important missions.
