The Circle of Elements

The circle of elements is the magic concept where through the learning of certain schools of magical elements, one can combine the movements and processes of two different schools to create new effects to happen. This however is very rigid, as each element interacts with another in a very different way, some elements making another grow stronger, or make it grow weaker, and some making both elements weaker. This however doesn't mean a spell coming from a combination of two weak side spells are essentially bad, but it means that due to their opposing elements, they won't be as powerful as two elements aiding each other.
The elements within the circle are: fire, earth, wind, water, wood, and lightning
Fire can be made more powerful through addition of wind, wood, and lightning, but can be made weaker through earth and water.
Earth can be made stronger through wood, water, and fire, but can be made weaker through wind, and lightning
Wind can be made stronger through fire, water, and lightning, but can be made weaker through wood, and earth
Water can be made stronger through fire, earth, and wind, but can be made weaker through wood, and lightning
Wood can be made stronger through earth, water, and wind, but can be made weaker through lightning, and fire
Finally, lightning can be made stronger through fire, wind, and water, but can be made weaker through earth, and wood.
