Ganga Island

Geography

The Island of Ganga is incredibly tropical, with the island being completely covered in dense jungle, with trees reaching up to the sky and giving shade to the ground. In the center of the island, there is a large dormant volcano by a mountain range that leads down into the sea. It finds itself situated in the middle of the ocean, in between the Golden Frontier and the Old World. It is an absolutely gorgeous islands, with beautiful sights along the entire island, and beautiful beaches, with poets writing of its beauty and speaking of it in the old world.

Fauna & Flora

The island has a large variety of animals, most noteworthy being that of giants versions of animals one could see in the old world, but with large differences in biology and size naturally. There are very few predators, the most noteworthy being wyverns who sometimes nest there but usually end up being driven away by the wildlife. The most notable animals come out at night, as Ganga island at night has been called the Glowing Jungle, due to that many smaller herbs and animals come out and start glowing in the dark such as insects.

Natural Resources

There is a lot of thick trees in the jungles of Ganga, along with a large variety of animals one can hunt or tame. Within the volcano can be a large network of caves where different shiny gems and crystals can be found. It also has a large variety of herbs that can be found, some especially useful for potion creation, but who also can be dangerous because of infection by the intense magic on the island
