Draken (Language)

Writing System

The written word of Draken is actually quite simplistic at first sight, due to its focus on using dots and lines to symbolize letters, then when joined together to form words. Initially there were much more lines within the language but then moved on to a much more simply system as the language spread and evolved among the empire's denizens, leading to the fewer lines of the current era.

Geographical Distribution

The language was originally only a draken language, but ended up spreading throughout the continent, becoming the primary language for the whole continent. Its also evolved over time, before it used a lot of sounds that are easier for the draken species to use, but as later changed to more common sounds as its spread to other people, and has caused many of the words to be shortened from its previous longer ones.
