Blackmoon Academy (West)

Once the Wyrmfyre Lighthouses stood as shinning beacons of trade and safety, ushering in vessels from the Western Lands into the massive Felgris Harbor. After their partial destruction at the hands of the Ancient Kraken during the Godswar, the southern tower was claimed by the The Blackmoon Society . Now the towers upper levels have been rebuilt, and the area serves as the Society's western campus, training a new generation of adventurers, in hopes of one day reclaiming the Lands of the Godless.
The tower rises high into the sky, as if attempting to pierce the sky itself. On the pinnacle of its steeple roof a crystal floats lightly, spinning gently regardless of the winds around it. At night, it sheds a bright beam of light, acting as its predecessor did, lighting the way towards the western shores of the continent Ashtora western shores.

This building serves as a school for aspiring adventurers of the The Blackmoon Society. There are several campus located throughout the land if Ashtora

History

The bards tell of the epic battle which took place near the end of the Godswar, where the combined might of the Sky Legion and the remnants of the Freepeoples of the Undersea cities stood against the most ancient of the Krakens. In that seemingly one sided battle, when the defenders were all but spent, the mages of Fire and Light combined their collective knowledge and life essences to summon a massive beam of fiery light, focused through both lighthouse crystals, blowing open a gaping hole in the Kraken's chest!
In its rage, the Ancient Kraken took two massive swipes at the towers with tentacles thicker than the largest of ships in the harbor. The Northern tower was smashed from tip to foundation, while the upper levels of the Southern tower were knocked far into the ocean with a mighty slap.
