Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Peter is a young man of medium height and a scanty complexion. He has short blond hair, done back. He has a pear-shaped face, lively dark blue eyes, small nose, outstanding ears.
At the Society he's usually seen wearing a black suit that is required for the staff, sometimes accompanied by a blue bowtie.

Personal history

Peter was an orphan, he never knew his real parents. He had to start working from an early age and changed a ton of jobs. He worked in factories, delivered the mail, sold newspapers on the streets, served as a bartender, was a shipboy, spent two years in India.
Yet for one reason or another, he never stayed at the same job for too long, and he never felt any trade to be fitting him well. He continued searching for his life purpose.
Eventually his wanderings led him to the Society for Arcane Sciences, which was hiring staff. The place seemed fun enough and the position not too demanding, and Peter decided to apply.
Now he's doing behind-the-scenes errands; turning the lights on and off, keeping the windows open at night for certain Spirits of London to come in, fixing specimen cages, getting rid of the toxic waste that thr resident neoalchemists leave behind, and all sorts of other things.
Peter has made quite a few friends in the Society, including the repair kraken, who helped him reassemble more than a few broken machines, and Victor Perkins the engineer.
