Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Victor is a tall, muscular young man. He has an oblong head, grey eyes, a thin narrow nose. His hair is thick and black. He has rich sideburns and a moustache.
Victor usually wears a dark grey apron and leather glothes, as his job dictates. Sometimes those are accompanied by protective goggles.

Personal history

Victor Clarkson was named after the famous Victor Frankenstein, as his story was still insanely popular at the time of his birth. His parents owned a locksmith shop in Whitechapel. He was the second youngest of five children, and never hoped to be a large part of the family business, but the background in locksmithing was useful for him when he started gaining interest in mechanical engineering.
The financial state of his family didn't allow Victor to receive a good quality education, but he was able to gain some skill in machinery, and worked at several different facilities managing equipment. However, he always wished he could handle machines more complex than your regular steam engine.
So when the word spread that a certain Society for Arcane Sciences was hiring a mechanical engineer, Victor applied without hesitation. There, he was able to see and cater for the creations of such brilliant technicians as Mr Archer, Ms Flowers and Mr Pennebrygg. He also made a friend in the person of Peter Clarkson, a laid back errand boy.
