Leshy

Leshy are a type of spirit found in the Forests of The Gates.
Description
They are temperamental and neutral spirits who behave based on the actions or intent of the mortals they encounter, the current state of the forest, and their mood at the time. This can make them seem either evil, chaotic, good, more depending on how they act when encountered. Because of this, one group of travelers may consider them to be benevolent and generous, whereas another group will consider them scoundrels.   They can take any form, any size, but tend to have the appearance of elderly men with long beards, frames that could be either heavyset/strong or emaciated, and scantily clad with nothing but a cloth around their waist.   The wolf-form that the leshy took was observed by Namina, and she noticed the following: It's aura had a few dark colors, a few normal/bright colors, and it was a combination of Indigo, Green, Dark green, and Dark cyan. Additionally, the aura that she was seeing was positioned just above the wolf. This would suggest that the wolf, or the spirit nearby, is empathetic, sensitive to the auras and energies of others, has unrealistic expectations, arrogance, yet is also peaceful, balanced, responsible while also being self critical or envious. A strange, unusual combination of traits reminiscent of the Leshy itself.
History
Hysteria was familiar with the stories of the Leshy when the Spiritual Travelers first encountered one on Nurend 15, 308.   The Leshy on that day took the form of a wolf with green, grass-like fur and beige-pink flowers growing from behind its ears. This color of pink was identical to the color of the clouds constantly seen in The Gates so far.   This Leshy attempted to lead the group astray by staring at them, panting, and as they approached walking away while checking behind itself to make sure the group was fallowing it.
Agave used his ability to speak with animals but the wolf-speech was unusual and only every other word was understood. However, enough was heard to be able to determine that this creature was hoping to find some bones that needed to be put to rest which peaked the interest of Kaswink and Namina.   When Namina used her ability to see the undead, this wolf had what appeared to be the ghost of an old man standing near it. This man apparently said the following to Namina:   “Doomed to walk, alone and ignored, my bones, my body, unburied without rites. Find me and my belongings and put me to rest.”
After running after the spirit for about 20 minutes, Agave realized that it may be leading them in a circle, or perhaps creating a perimeter around the true location of the bones. The Spiritual Travelers decided to head to the center of this supposed perimeter, and they did eventually find some bones which they performed some funeral rites for. A gust of wind pointed them further ahead and they soon came across The Well of Darkness.   With the dangers involved in The Well of Darkness, the time wasted running after the wolf, combined with the bones and important information found... it is still unclear if this Leshy was truly leading them to something valuable or just away from their intended path.
