Kaldau 42, 258: Setting out Again

It's been a couple weeks since I arrived in the grasslands. I'm feeling a lot better. I bet my parents are terrified of what happened to us. I'm still terrified, myself. We have tea most nights. On one of them some amorphous shapes of...nothingness appeaered. They called themselves "Uncertainty" and they enjoyed the Heart of Geometry in their tea. I'm going to take my leave soon. Need to find Anise. I had to trade something of sentimental value to these mushrooms to stay with them. They appreciate the "psychic residue" on sentimental things. The leader of this mushroom village is called "Meli", and she refers to the village and surrounding area as her "garden". There is another forest beyond this village, and vast grasslands. During my stay, I have explored the grasslands and the forest a bit. I found more weird plants which I'll catalogue in the back. I'm planning on continuing to follow the road "north", hopefully I can find out more about what happened to Anise. I worry she may have gone through any of these gates. That would complicate things.
