Adderhen
Strangely delicious. A combination of poultry and viper. Dangerous in the wild and delicious in certain kitchens.
Their eggs are quite the delicacy!
Catoblepas My vision blurs, hard to look at. Reminds me of Fjarverand with the rancid stench. Death, decay, rot. I yearn for them with its gaze.
Zodiaptera It flew outside my window for sometime. One of the many books called it "Zodiaptera" depending on the time of year it has different colors, elemental affinities, designs. This one is blue and enjoyed the fire from my candles. They’re small, ranging between the size of a rather large horsefly to a smaller bird like a blue jay. They can be found throughout the Gates but generally prefer cooler, wetter and shadier environments though this can vary depending on the time of year. Each Zodiaptera has a segmented worm-like body and a face akin to a child-like drawing with a line for a mouth and swirling eyes.
