Leaf Worm

A centipede like creature. Up to 30' long. Untold number of legs with individual pincers. Large mandibles lined with razor sharp teeth. Able to blend into the terrain by changing its skin pigmentation. An extremely agile and quick animal, with relativity thin skin and durability. Was an apex predator during UPS rule of Thrassalan and highly prized as a trophy.

Native to Thrassalan. Has been exported to other worlds for big game hunts, or exotic "pets".

Leaf Worms remaining on Thrassalan have adapted to their changed environment by losing almost all eyesight due to extreme UV radiation and airborne sand. They now track pray through vibration and sound. Skin pigmentation has changed from its former green palette to more browns, blacks and oranges to blend in with the desert and mitigate damage from UV radiation.
