Obsmire Peninsula
A single-province region of The Frontier. This marshy, cold peninsula is prone to storms, mists and misfortune. Named for its tendency to yield obsidian in the marshes, the Obsmire usually claims those who sought to gather obsidian there.
Attempts at Settlement
In the last five decades, many world powers have tried to establish outposts here due to its strategic location. Usually disease, storm or beast drives those who do settle here away. A lighthouse stood at the end of the Obsmire for a total of ten years before falling afoul to the temperament of the peninsula and never being found again.Ruined Lighthouse

The Obsmire is flat, marshy with pockets of deep swamps. The ground has a tendency to flood. The pools left there stagnate, giving rise to a permeating foul smell. Sea storms frequently roll over the peninsula, bringing dark clouds, lightning and leaving a lingering mist there.
Fauna & Flora
Various manner of beasts live here in the stagnant pools, swamps and marshland.
Natural Resources
Obsidian has been found among the stagnating and ever changing pools, alongside other precious ores, gems and even treasure.
