Borris

A small but strong creature.   Willing to fight but prefers to keep the peace   Currently using his family axe with a ever-burning skull on the top.   He is an orphan after discovering his home up in the Glacis Wilds to be completely destroyed and all inhabitants missing.   After this he went adventuring to find not only friends but also adventure to pull his mind away from the sorrow.   Decided to experiment on himself with magical water and ended up cursing himself for several days. Unfortunately due to this Borris got extremely close to death. Thankfully his compatriots that together form The Cursed Crusaders Were able to bring him to Greenhorn and specifically to a temple/Embassy of Moradin. Here a old dwarven cleric healed him casting rather expensive and high level magic. Much to the parties surprise the cleric asked for no gift or coin in return and instead offered sage advise to his colleges saying "This is the way".

A socially withdrawn gnome that has roamed the lands for a very long time. Tries to avoid fights at all costs but isn't afraid to finish them.

The Church

We finalie arrived at my hoem town. It looks nothing like it did...someone has moved in. They are terible at decor. We were welcomed by some jelly looking creatures, we handled it by burning the building down on them. I pulled Sam out of that sitation and got slapped a lot for it. We then went in te church and found a giant skull head. Tha kat man finalie impress'd me. He somehow ripped the I out of the skull. The creature quickly dissapeared and I helped the kat man tackle the eye down. Whatever the creature was it lives only through the I it seems. I tried to convince everyone to take the I back but they wer not on board. They destroid the sighil in the church before we went back to the ship. K was quick enough to bring the ship to us and we trapped the I inside a barrel.

Traveling North

I finally won the enkhanter over to my side, I showed him the magic rock and he lost his mind. I just need to work for the guy for a little bit. I am working out while I work his billow for the forge. Maybe I can watch how he maces the wepons wile I''''m here. I also feel ike my riting is gedding bedder.   Note: I neeed to fiend a bettter place fur my journal. Peoplllle keep walking on i... and the kat dude is atempting to reed my seecrets.

Shopping?

We met another Barbarian!!!! His name was Urthan, he seems like a cool guy so far. I also got super scraped up by some bushes that we were tasked with finding. That stuff hurt so bad, thankfully K and Sam pulled me out of the bush I stumbled in and we dropped of the flowers where they needed to go. I wasn't totally onboard for the whole trip, we just saw the group of girls walk by on their way to the bush. I think we are gonna try to figure out how to head north after this...once we find warm clothes.

Arriving through the portal

We have arrived at the capital of Skand, my friends were able to keep the portal open long enough to get everyone through. It seemed to strain them a lot though, Noelani, Aerilyn and Sam all seemed pretty down afterward. Once through a Cat looking fellow, approach the guards and us and starting almost haggling with them over us. I know we are a pretty cool group but no need for things like that. Kala, the big cat, and Cordilla, a blue tall person, offered rooms at their Inn if we liked. Everyone accepted their offer very quickly, everyone seemed to want to sleep rather quickly...I just wanted a drink after all that excitement. As soon as we went through the door I tried to find a ale unattended or the bar keep to get some more from. Turns out Kala was the bar keep as well, something weird happened though because almost as soon as we go there they shoved us in a closet. Both me and Sam were squished against the wall, it was not comfortable at all! What seemed like hours passed and I got tired of waiting, I don't know why they shoved us back there but I ran out of ale rather quickly...I was pretty thirsty. I tried to push myself out of the closet but as soon as we got to the door the tall blue lady opened it from the outside. Everyone toppled out, Aerilyn seemed to hurt herself on the ground...she might need to start wearing some heavier armor if the ground hurts her like that. Not wanting to keep us up late they told us they would explain things in the morning so we all went to bed. Again, I had the terrible dream...this time there was more detail to the sculptures. I saw my friends frozen in ice and blood and the creature was still pounding at the door to get in. I need to figure out a way to stop these dreams, they have been terrible ever since we fought the giant spider.   After we woke shit hit the fan, apparently the elf got killed...taken...something. All I heard was there was a giant symbol on the wall in blood and she was gone. It might be tied to the people disappearing on the boats. It turns out Kala and Cordilla are part of a spy group? A secret group?? Something that sounds pretty cool, that are trying to solve the same mystery we are. I'm quite curious if they will want to join us in solving it.

Still Adventuring North

As we were flying through the night I suddenly woke to a yell from somewhere. I didn't know what language it was but it sounded urgent. Sam and I looked over the edge of the slab and saw chaos down below. quite a few dark shadows were approaching a group of dwarves. Not wanting to leave, what could be possible friends, in peril I jumped from the slab to join the fight quickly. I collided with a troll or an ogre...I can never tell them apart and I think I broke a few ribs when I hit him. Surprisingly I was able to right myself after slamming into it. The battle itself took no time at all, a fire horse came out of nowhere and burned most of the orcs where they stood. I have no idea where it came from but I'm glad I wasn't caught in the blaze, the orcs all died almost instantly from it. Once we righted ourselves from the tussle the dwarves introduced themselves. I had personally never seen a female dwarf in my travels, her beard was way more impressive than mine!   Apparently the troop was looking for a noble, their description sounded very similar to a "goblin" that we had picked up earlier. Not really being the best of friends with the creep I quickly tried to get his attention to have him come down off the slab. After trying to steel the slab and the goblin wizard, the slab was quickly turned over by the wizard and the "goblin" came falling down. Aerilyn somehow convinced him to talk to her, from what I overheard it seemed like Aerilyn had known this creature for a long time. I didn't ask to many questions though because I don't really understand what all happened between the two.   After getting enough information to get a good picture of what was going on Aerilyn and K handed the "goblin" over to the dwarves. Wanting to help them we followed them to the portal that the goblin possibly came through. Hoping to get a short cut to the north. After the Sam, Aerilyn and Noelani almost killed themselves keeping the portal open we managed to get the slab and everyone through in time before it closed.

Traveling North

Once aboard the floating mountain we had to decide what to do. Everyone was for going back to my homeland and figuring out what was going on up there. From what I could tell in my dreams it was not good. We quickly gathered items and enlisted the help of a goblin mage to fly one of their slabs for us. Leaving the horses behind...cause no one wanted to tie them under the rock like I did...we started flying north. The first day was uneventful, we touched down in orc territory so K and I stayed awake and watched for any trouble while everyone else slept. Once Sam woke up he joined us outside, K tried to teach him about a thing called meditation? I'm not totally for sure what it is, the way she described it was fighting with your eyes closed...I don't know how well that works when you can't see what you are hitting. While Sam was attempting this mediation fighting thing Aerilyn saw an opportunity, quickly running up behind Sam she clocked him in the back of the head. It was funny and also a touch mean, poor dude was just trying to figure out K was talking about. Aerilyn thankfully apologized to him and we got back onto the slab. That night Noelani, Aerilyn and Sam all started drinking...which made it a little difficult to sleep, but they seemed to have a good time which made up for it. I think Sam thought he was drinking regular tea, I don't think he realized it had alcohol in it...probably the best tea he's had! The next day our Goblin wizard put us down in another field and K and I kept watch. Unfortunately it was not as quite as the first day. Sam, who was still awake even after having several Long Island ice teas, spotted a small goblin in the distance running towards us. Knowing that Goblins are kind creatures, since the only goblins I have met were the mountain dwelling ones, I ran out to meet him. Seeing he was tired from running I carried him back to the slab and my friends. The weird little dude started paying me gold to hold him...telling me there would be more if I carried him the whole time. Wanting to make some money I didn't see any harm in it.   Chaos followed bringing back the stranger. Apparently he wasn't a goblin, even though he looked like a goblin and smelled like a goblin. He offered us gold to drop him off somewhere but it wasn't really on our way so we made a deal to drop him off in Yinar which is much closer to Sgand, the place he was trying to go. The strange man was very taken by me and Sam...I think he has a thing for short people. Not wanting to prop any interest Sam and I slept outside. I am also not a huge fan of his demeanor, he comes across very snotty and I'm afraid he will speak ill of my friends. If he does he will be quickly left behind to fend for himself.   As my dreams continue developing I am growing more nervous about going back to my homeland. It has been quite a long time since I have seen it. I wonder what has changed, if anything of my old village is still standing. I'm glad I have my friends with me though, it will make returning to such a dreadful place bearable.

An Eight Legged Surprise.

We finally made it to the top of the mountain only to run into our old drow friend that tried to take us as slaves a couple weeks back. He was discussing the matters of taking over the world with what seemed to be a priestess riding a giant spider. Not wanting to interrupt we quickly threw all the wild magic at the group and caused a good amount of chaos. I tried to help by sending my swords in but for some reason they didn't want to leave my backpack. The spider turned and chomped into the drow, which was pretty funny to watch, and a tiny sun was formed on the spider. Once the sun was there I didn't get to see to much, it was too bright to look at long. While we were bullying the spider and crew a young half-elf was rescuing the the last remaining scout from on top of the mound, as soon as she escaped with him we ran away from the chaos that we had created.   We met Conner, the scout, and K, a monk from a monastery in orc territory. Both of which seemed pretty shaken from their encounter with the spider. With our new companions in toe we traveled down the mountain back towards the armies' HQ. Once we got back down we were shocked to see everyone loading up on the goblin's mountain. They somehow had flown their mountain over to the battle and were picking the soldiers up. I will never understand magic...don't really know if I want to.

Scouting the Mountains

We were tasked by the prince to scout the mountains and watch for any movement by the orc army. The first camp we came to Sam helped the injured soldiers, even though they were being an ass to us, and healed quite a few of their number. On our way up the mountain, we stumbled across a small orc camp where we found a lot of different battle plans in their main tent. I'm very surprised we were able to sneak by all the orcs, thankfully it rained the whole time so our noisy footsteps were covered. We sent the plans that we could to the prince and also received a reply from the goblins on behalf of their leader. I sent the sheet to the main leader of the goblins...his name eludes me still but my party members remember. Their memory is much better than mine! We continued past the camp and headed farther up the mountain, we started coming across a lot of spider webs, but not the normal small, kind of annoying ones. These were big enough to snare a normal man. Out of no where we were attacked by these massive spider looking beings, they were a lot tougher than I thought they would be. I got very lucky on my first hit an cut right through one of their armored legs. We survived that encounter and continued...wanting to be stealthy my party did not agree with my plan to burn the webs.   As we continued up Sam kept seeing small eyes watching us, my guess is they lived in the mountains and were afraid of both us and the orcs. Not to long of marching farther on we came across a clearing, discovering that the Drow we ran into days ago was on this very same mountain with us. Fucking talking to a giant as spider and feeding it people...what else would I expect from him, he was not nice to us at all in the cave even though we were trying to help him.   Now we are facing a choice, do we fight the drow/spider/and spider whisperer or do we run on by and priorities getting to the top of the mountain?

Dinos...wtf?

We continued our fight against the orcs and dinos and pulled out on top some how...for some reason the dino's leg exploded that I had been fighting. Some magic or something like that caused the dino to explode! Once surviving the fight we caught back up with the captain and got our next orders. To scout to the northwest in the mountains and make our flank a little more secure. I told my magic wielding friends that they should test out spells on the way...we can spare a few orc test subjects.

The Orc Invasion

The party warned the kingdom about an incoming Orc invasion coming from the North. We decided it was best to work as mercenaries to get money back in our pockets and build favor with the kingdom. We hustled north and set camp up on the battle line, waiting for the enemy to come to us. We awoke to arrows raining down, thankfully we found a nice cave to camp in which kept us out of the main shower of arrows. The orcs then pushed the line and we held them back until they called upon these giant lizard beasts and I am getting my ass beat by them.

The Awakening

I awoke on a slab of stone in an unfamiliar area. Looking around for my friends I came across a dwarf who informed me where I was and what had happened. My risk with the smart water was not thought out well, I need to do more thinking. It caused my cool arm to fall off and spew what seemed like oil out of the wound. My friends helped me the best they could as I passed out from the pain. After I woke up and got my bearings I went to find my friends with the help of some dwarven guards. We came across them in the lower levels of the palace, Sam had somehow gotten stuck under my axe and no explanation was given to why he was trying to get frisky with my axe. Fazing in and out of the day we continued on our adventure, looking for gold before going to far. We striked a deal with a poor wizard to bring a live troll to him for 150 gold. We couldn't convince Sam to sell the cage for the gold without doing the work. He wanted to be nice to the rude/poor wizard, it wasn't enough gold in my opinion to be nice to him.   Off we went to go capture this blue water troll. The plan was to use me as bait in a cage but unfortunately the troll was smarter than we were led to believe. It did not take the bate and sat in the water waiting for ambush. Our party then began to battle the troll, it kept healing from our blows. Nothing could keep the damage until Sam hit it with fire, once it was touched by the fire all of our hits stuck to it. We finally got the troll knocked out by tripping it and making it hit its head on the cobble stone bridge. We tried to move it into the cage before it woke up but it started to wake up before we go it fully in. We had to bonk it pretty hard to get it the rest of the way in.   We took it back to the rude wizard and got paid the tiny amount of gold, I like the drunk guy that helped us. He was stronk like me.
