Dwarven Waste

At the end of The War of Silver Brittle, the entirety of the Dwarven homeland lay in ruin. What remained was a black and desolate wasteland filled with dust, fiery crags, and gnarled monsters said to have crawled out of the earth. The Dwarven Waste is entirely unfit for agricultural cultivation and only a race as hardy and stubborn as the Dwarves could survive in its endless girth of blackness and despair.

• Soot Striders are said to have crawled out of Lady Chasmatus herself. They bear fierce claws and gnashing teeth and are highly aggressive and outsizably vicious in battle.
