The adventurers fight Strahd Von Zarovich. The party is quickly overwhelmed and surrender. Ireena Kolyana leaves with Strahd Von Zarovich to save her brother Issmark "The Lesser" Indirovich

Thinking themselves safe on hallowed ground, Strahd informs the party that with the priest’s acceptance of his son and Strahd’s spawn, the church ground is no longer consecrated.   Mother, thinking quickly takes Ireena Kolyana hostage to negotiate with Strahd Von Zarovich.   Enraged, Strahd Von Zarovich attacks, handily defeating the party. He then beats Issmark "The Lesser" Indirovich to near death, demands the party surrender and that Ireena Kolyana leaves with him to Ravenloft   The party return to the tavern, defeated and now with less allies on the playing field .
