Nat

Nat was a street urchin from Waterdeep in the late 15th century DR.
She is the leader of the tree urchins and would do anything for them. 
She is deaf and uses her own form of sign-language to communicate with her friends.

Personal history

Nat can remember her mother, working away in one of the mills outside of Waterdeep. She remembers her smile and her hands, rough after work. She also remember her not coming back home. Nat was sent to an orphangage to stay until someone wanted her, but it was a terrible place to be in. So she and her nervous friend, Jenks , ran away. They met Squiddly and stay together. For a time she was afraid they would lose Squid, but now it is alright again. Now, in Trollskull Mansion she can keep her family together.
