Stubrn Wood

This isolated wood is avoided by all save the bravest adventurers; it is rumored to be a place of fell magic, blue mists, and glowing lights are often seen in its interior by caravans passing at night to and from Llorach to the west. The elves say gates to other worlds lie in the depths of Stubrn Wood, translated as Sselrn in the elvish tongue, named after the founder of a tower here.
Mages of awesome power from other worlds have settled in the Woods and guard the gates to prevent others from using them. This news has yet to be tested, as neither spells nor other abilities seem to penetrate the Wood’s interior; few enter Stubrn Wood willingly and walk out again.
