The town of Serenity Roost was founded by a Hobbledehoy woman who fancied herself Queen of the Greenfields. She passed away without ever achieving the level of eminence she desired but her town grew into a thriving community. Its success is not surprising since it is one of the only towns of any size astride one of the most frequently traveled overland roads linking the North with the great cities of Andril, Rhigolia and beyond to the heartlands. The trade caravans that pass through Serenity Roost bring gold to the merchants and craftspeople of the town. Governor Diokles Kefalas runs the town to the best of his abilities at the behest of the inhabitants.
