The nation of Jahar lies between Nosvanii and Agelmar. Its capital Cloudmere lying near the northern border just south of the Plain of Lances. Jaharii are famous merchants and are said to have strange ideas about debts and repayment. Jaharii men are noted for wearing pearl earrings and forked beards. Jaharii merchants wear chains across their chests. The seat of the monarchy is called the Throne of the Clouds. The throne is currently held by Queen Evangelina of the Ancient Noble House of Jaharii. The throne, located in the Aasimar Palace in the capital Cloudmere is the home to one of the oldest and most powerful of the Merchant’s Guilds and many affluent merchants have their origins there.
