Militia: The gallant, heroic defenders of Aethermyst are known as “The Knights in Silver” (as they are called in a ballad penned by the bard Ellanon Adan'sellion). They number over 500.

Aethermyst is the strongest and largest inland human city and bustles with activity. Folks of all good races reside here in harmony that is attributed to the High Lady’s kindness, grace, and diplomacy. It is not uncommon to find elves (yes real elves!) discussing things magical with dwarves while perusing scrolls in the town library. Most of the city lies strategically along the Aetherpass. Much of the city’s activity center on higher learning, including the magical arts. Some say that it echoes the spirit of the ancient elf kingdoms where fables tell of a lost city where elves, dwarves, and men worked together to bring knowledge, particularly magical knowledge, and the arts to a peak of perfection never achieved elsewhere.
