Arthfael Diarmaid was born to Leogaire and Sionann Diarmaid, members the Council of Difetha. He has two older sisters, him being the youngest. Arthfael's sister Aine would get dragged into Glaw's insanity and would do a lot of his dirty work in the scientific research department. Arthfael's other sister, Neasa was lined up to be the next High Chancellor, a title Glaw, of course, wanted for himself, got her out of the way so he could eventually rise to High Chancellor. Glaw hearing of the legend of Atgyfodiad he used tasked Arthfael's team with hunting for the sacred objects. Arthfael was on the council for 7 years and eventually became the Secretary-General before being leaving with The Draig Tân. When this happened Glaw took the Difetha throne for himself before he was defeated by The Gang, Arthfael's sister Neasa Diarmaid was revealed to still be alive took her rightful place on the council.
