Dormaeu is a planet in the Nephrasian Cluster, a cluster of galaxies close to the center of the known universe.

Ecosystem

A liquid-water rich, soil-rich world with an active sky. The world has an intense atmosphere with high energetic currents that spin in bands that surround the planet, protecting the inhabitants of the world from the intense radiation of the extreme number of star systems, galaxies, and nebulae that congregate in the nearby Nephrasian Cluster.

Dormeu is a world in perpetual light, as its active sky and the nearby celestial displays provide a constant bombardment with visible light.

Tourism

The Dormeu are intensely compassionate and curious individuals, and technology in the recent near-two-hundred-million years has provided a system called the Arches -- these allow the Dormeu to complete immersive pseudo-visits to other worlds, often vastly different from their own. The tourism is protected and overseen by the Archwalkers, who learn the cultures at the locations of the arches, watch for developments that could jeopardize tourists, and prepare Dormeu tourists with the in-person multi-dimensional 'visits' that allow them to learn about these distant worlds, races, and cultures. Only the Archwalkers ever actually set foot on these distant worlds -- the rest is done through holographic and real-time quantum projection.
