Doomers

Doomers are, as long as most people in the galaxy know, the last humans alive. They are a particular strain of humanity born in radiation-filled worlds unsuitable for life. Yet, stubborn to give up their ancestors managed to adapt and proliferate in such worlds, giving a very resilient sub-species with immunity to radiation and resistance to poison.
