Androids

Androids were a creation of the humans of the Gaira Empire. They are fully sentient and were created to be like humans. The project started when Gaira found the remnants of a previous species that were fully mechanical and they wanted to create their own. They looked into the designs of the ancient civilization and combined them with their own technology until they uncovered the secrets of artificial life, a secret that they guarded so tight that nowadays only the IA's trusted with their fabrication knows them.
They have very compatible with bionics, while in baseline they are not much different in capabilities except for their unnatural toughness: they can be literally torn into pieces and survive as long as their brain is still intact.

Basic Information

Anatomy

They mimic human anatomy externally, except for their metallic skin (but some androids prefer using synthetic skin to cover themselves and look more human) and bright green eyes.

Genetics and Reproduction

They are created by factories operated by advanced AI that keep performing their function without obeying no one and thus the exact flow of new androids cannot be controlled nor predicted, especially since only those IA are able to manufacture androids.

Behaviour

They are similar to humans in behavior and perspective, except for their lack of pain. Most of them also tend to miss the old days, as see humanity as parents that are no longer with them.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

As their baseline, their vision is the same as the human one, but they can augment it with bionics easily.
