Judgement

Those who practice Judgement seek to maintain some form of law, be it absolute, natural or consequential, drawing divine energy from adhering to and enforcing its principles. A character violating the laws they consider sacred permanently reduces the Spellpower until they face punishment.   Absolute Law   Your powers come from enforcing and not breaking the absolute laws which govern men. These laws may be from the Accord's charters, entrenched customs or enshrined legalities, but your powers hinge on whether you too follow them. When someone violates the law, you weild additional power against them. In much of the Grand Accord, that punishment is often worse than death. Breaking these laws yourself will cripple your powers until you yourself see justice.   Natural Law   You are responsible for keeping the balance of nuanced natural law filled with moral pitfalls, based on your personal believe that natural law supercedes the written law. If a starving man steals bread, is it a crime or a natural consequence of economic imbalances? If peasants rise up against a tyrannical leader, is it betrayal or a just cause? Whatever you reason the natural law is, it applies to you too.   Consequential Law   The divine works in mysterious ways beyond the comprehension of the individual. Villainous plots can bring peace, and heroic deeds can bring misery. One must then judge not the action but the result, each doer culpable for the results of actions, including you.
