Black Tehezad
The Black Tehezad is a religious order that hails from Tehezad and operates in service of Gomingravan. They are known as the 'Black' Tehezad because of the strange black sacrement they seek. Most Tezehadi stay underground or come out exclusively come out during the dark hours, hiding their often unusual forms from others. While they mostly wear the traditional vestments follow some ways of ancient Alarans, they have adopted many Tokori and Ebokani traditions and symbols related to their practice of Transformation magic.
Members of the Black Tehezad may either be directly birthed from Gomingravan or be inducted into the order by taking the black sacrement, with some even doing so in order to increase their own power or restore their ailing bodies. Despite experiencing a strong psychic connection to other Changelings, members of the Tehezad have individuality, potentially residing outside the well of the black sacrement indefinitely while interacting with various dynasties and performing the duties of nurturing various temples to Gomingravan on the surface. Black Tehezadi must seek out sustenance, rest and other comforts. Some even participate in cults and secret orders attempting to maintain the ancient silverblood lines of powerful Changeling-touched rulers. As most Black Tehezadi live far outside the arcoentropic fields operating in Alara, they must consume various materials to survive.
