Create sense of compulsion and dread which repels beings. While Banish can be used on a single target, it's best used in an area. Those affected by Banish lose
Willpower equal to the spell's power for every combat action which occurs within the spell's target tile(Schools) for the duration of the spell. For those targets who reach 0 Willpower while within the area of a Banish spell, they become inexplicably phobic of the target area for the spell's duration.
If Banish is cast on a single target, the target is affected by banish until they attempt to leave the area.
Lesser Banish
Half the cost of Banish. Lesser Banish has a perimeter beyond which the target may not pass. If they pass, they will feel the effects of banishment.
Greater Banish
Twice the cost of Banish. Greater Banish also causes elemental damage of a selected type equal to each Willpower point that the target expends to stay within the area of a banish spell. The subject may choose to not resist at all. Either way, the creature ceases to exist for days equal to the unopposable power of the spell. At the end of such a period, the banished creature reappears as per Lesser Doorway. If the banished creature was previously summoned to Geron from another plane of existence, it instead reappears in its place of origin. Any ritual, power or influence it has on Geron ceases until the creature is resummoned or successfully breaches the veil.
