Faerwald Lowenthal
His Highness, Faerwald Almarsson Lowenthal
Current prince of Lowenthal, Lord Chancellor of the King's Government. When he heard of the Northern victory at Fort Aling, he began to gather his own forces and founded the Alliance of The Lion, named after his own and the Varangoth family arms. It was his intention to put the then lord Astor on the royal throne. He managed to break through the Trondalean ship blockade during the Battle of Lowenthal Bay. He found the Prince of Norland and his entourage hiding in Ravenheim and successfully urged them to surrender. Gundar Dragnaland even joined the Alliance of the Lion, and all Northern forces followed suit. Thanks to this he also won the battles of Fort Gartyr and Trondalen Palace. As promised he was made Lord Chancellor of the new King Astor's government. His first action was to sentence the old Prince Asmund of Trondalen to death, and to banish his son Rodmar to Northern Sandsmark. He has since assisted the young king's endeavour to stabilise his rule over the Eylands.
