Lord Dunstan Edgarsson Gartyr-Wesmund

The last of the Gartyr-Wesmunds, killed during the Fifth Battle of Gartyr in 890. He was a direct vassal to the late Prince Asmund of Trondalen. He was killed by Gundar Dragnaland using fire magic when he murdered his betrothed, Ranveig Ravenheim, before Gundar's eyes. His lands and titles were seized by the Varangoth crown.

Though he owned the largest fortress in all the Eylands and the rank of merkis, his lands weren't that profitable. His family was deliberately kept in a modest position by the Princes of Trondalen to remind them who their superior was.
