Vex (Vuh ex)
Vex is the recon officer, and sniper for Horizon. He is a sapient mullosk who inhabits a humanoid created body as his "shell" or as he considers it his "home" in place of the normal large shell his people have.
Due to a lack of vocal apparatus Vex can not speak vocally without technological assistance as well as being deaf because his species lacks ears. However he can "hear" extremely well through feeling vibrations.
-His people communicate via complex color changes and signs. The rest of the crew at this point all know his colors and signs, knowing that Vex is uncomfortable using his cybernetic implants to speak and hear.
Vex is a kind and patient person who is closest with Totch and Naret.
