Tritanus
Tritanus is a domestic terrorist organization based in the clockwork empire. They believe that tritons are the dominant race of the Empire and therefore should be respected as such. The ultimate goal of Tritanus is to force every race other than tritons into positions of secondary power. This includes in the church and the major corporations. They also often times try to force other races from their homes in the upper city down into the undercity through the use of violence and intimidation.
Tritanus is surprisingly well supplied despite its small size. With several shipments of high tech weaponry at their command including a few squadrons stolen and reprogramed clockwork guards. This well-equipped nature discourages the church from getting involved in combating them. Rather they are mostly left alone to be dealt with by local corporation security or denizens of the blocks they put pressure on. This indicates that Tritanus may be well supplied by one or more of the major corporations. Or perhaps they have a way of working out their differences with local criminal elements in exchange for cooperation.
Most Tritanus members are little more than uneducated thugs. However upper levels of leadership contain highly charismatic tritons dedicated to the cause of triton supremacy. The founder of Tritanus’s name is Falenfall del Lamphet. He is a former Inquisitori removed from his position with the church due to his bloodthirst harming more than just mages. He now has a burning hatred for all things outside of other triton. In particular he seems to hold a vendetta against gnomes after it was a gnome cleric who got him expelled from the church.
Operating as a series of mostly independent cells, Tritanus is a difficult threat to fully crush. Eliminate one stronghold and the others merely disappear for a time before re-emerging with more members. Each cell has its own structure and leader. But they are all under the command of Falenfall who commands them through his pure charisma.
Overall, Tritanus is one of the more dangerous factions in the underbelly of Clockwork Empire. Their well armed cells of fanatical soldiers pose a threat to any and all non-triton who dare cross paths with them as well as to those who do not.
