Kenvi

Bounding through the coral wastes, Kenvi are a graceful elegant species. Their sleek pelts shimmering in the sunlight while their crystalline horns flicker in the iridescent light. Quick and easily spooked, the sighting of a Kenvi is rare as they usually avoid contact with other creatures, hiding in the winding mazes of the coral formations which they call home.   The rich and powerful of the Clockwork Empire however seek the horns of the Kenvi for their medicinal uses. Since Kenvi have not been able to survive in captivity, Emperials often attempt to hunt Kenvi down out it the wastes. But due to the dangerous nature of the world, more people die every year seeking Kenvi than the number of Kenvi horns are harvested.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Kenvi have four hoofed legs, one head, two eyes and a pair of crystalline horns. Males have soft green fur while females have pale blue.

Additional Information

Uses, Products & Exploitation

The horns of a Kenvi can be used to draw negative source out of a person, breaking curses and healing injuries.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Kenvi have all the standard senses, vision, smell, touch, and hearing. However, they have one additional sense that aids them in their ability to avoid predators. Their horns allow them to sense hostility and negative source. This allows them to easily avoid hunters or even Zer'Kai. However certain creatures can 'jam' their source senses allowing them to get close without being noticed.
Scientific Name
Cervidae
Conservation Status
Kenvi are not protected. As a species of the untamed wastes, they have little to worry about from sentient hunters. And while they are often sought after, more people die while attempting to track them down than members of their species die.
