Jordan

Jordan is an ancient company from around the time the Empire was founded. As such, those who run it care little for the public, and few know of its existence.
Contrary to the teachings of the church, the scientists of Jordan experiment with magic in secret. However, they have gotten in trouble with the church in the past due to this. Currently they are led by a Triton by the name of Camille le Charpenpiear, she is in her later years but still maintains an almost sickly sweet attitude towards those she interacts with. Her two primary subordinates, both Tritons, are Lamare Chaumont, a cold and calculating man who heads up the research and development division. He himself is a powerful sorcerer and avoids the spotlight as his power would lead to him being arrested. And Antoine Girardeau heads up production and manufacturing. Giradeau is described as being an elitist and a snob. He dislikes Chaumont but respects his work but oft hounds him for requesting prototypes be built that exceed project budgets. This smaller corporation is very influential with the other companies due to its willingness to walk on the wrong side of the church.
They primarily sell technology directly to the church and other corporations. Things like the shock coils used in Clockwork Guards were developed by the Jordan corporation. A gearforged by the name of General Alvis is their representative on the board of directors for the Empire.
