Chylthist Ascendancy
The Chylthist Ascendancy is a collection of independent wandering tribes, the Ascendancy barely interacts with the outside world, often treating outsiders with suspicion. It is said the Ascendancy only has one law. The law of survival of the fittest. Everyone in the frozen north has to pull their own weight, otherwise the entire tribe suffers. Those who fail and die are not mourned. They were weak and unworthy life. The Hunter's guild has been known to trade with the Ascendancy from time to time, for treasures like true ice and the bones and pelts of the great frozen beasts of the north. Csilla is one of the only permanent cities in the north, a trade outpost built by the Chylthist to help facilitate trade with the rest of the free world.
Structure
Whenever the four tribes meet, each tribe assigns one elder to meet in the counsel chamber to discuss the matters at hand.
Public Agenda
The Chyllthist Ascendancy is very cautious towards outsiders, the furthest north they will allow travelers go unaccompanied is to the city of Csilla.
Demography and Population
The Ascendancy is almost entirely made up of Chylthiist, but there are a few members of outside races who have earned their trust enough to be allowed to join their tribes.
