The Baron Lands

Formally the lands of Lord Harrow, the lands were salted and burned as punishment to Lord Harrow and his failed rebellion. Now known as The Baron Lands to all who are alive today, these lands are what they say in the name, baron. Villages and towns like Nettleton rely heavily on the imported goods that come from Weatherton, the closest port to the otherwise cut off area.

Geography

The Baron Lands is the collective name of the lands situated in the south east of the Region of Rosinhill. Once a bountiful area and a hot bed for trading, these lands were descimated during the Harrow Rebellion. This Rebellion, led by "The Last" Lord Harrow was unsuccessful and resulted in his lands being salted and stripped, leaving only a wasteland. Lord Harrow, the Keeper of the country, was executed along with all those who fought beside him. No mercy was given.   Now the lands are as their name dictates, baron. Vast stretched of cropless fields, dried up rivers and lakes and mountain ranges as far as the eye can see, all make up this forsaken county.   In the south most part of the Baron Lands, the Goblin domain, The Descent, lies shrouded in their maze of caves. The harsh terrain surrounding the entrace to the Descent does not phase the Goblins.

Localized Phenomena

Sandstorms plague the lands, usually light and nothing more than a nuisance, they have been known to become intense and hazardous to the locals. Nettleton, now the Keeper Town for the county, serves as a shelter for those who pass through the Baron Lands.
