Remnant
There is a cold wind that blows across the wasteland, reserved to remind the lone wanderer of her isolation. For those that have no nation to call their own, that wind blows bitter and strong, but is always at their back, giving them the drive to carve their own path through the ruined world. These Remnants of long dead societies and pairings of stronger bloodlines are saddled by the burden of finding an identity, bereft of strong cultural ties or strange genetic advantages. Remnant culture is a culture of none. For those that are the result of parents of mixed descent, the Remnants often find they just don’t fit in with either of their parents’ strains. Instead, they move on, adapt, and do their best to blend in where they can in a world that is filled with folks desperately clinging to their well defined social orders and family ties.
