Enlil

Demographics

The demographic of the Eastern city is mixed, a city that is the most mixed of ethnicity and culture of all four. Everyone is welcome to this place, there are pods that relate to just about any religion and culture. Some might say this is the most liberated city, while this isn't something they advertise to visitors, it is well known how accepting they are of people from any background.

Government

Here there is a democracy that is ran by a board of representatives from each specialised pod as well as 2 experts in mixed supported living. Here people pay a levy to live, once when you move in and then agaij when you live and their are various ways to pay these costs.

Industry & Trade

Trade is often made from other cities; however, Enlil offers jewels, charms, candles and protection items from multiple religions and belie systems.

Infrastructure

The first of the four floating cities, there was a lot of trial and error to create a sustainable place for the initial inhabitants to live. They also wanted to create a place where they would be able to help the dragons. Taking planes from other planets and cities that floated, this city (like the others) uses the planet's magnetic field to float rocks, connected by massive roots. They found as the city grew they were able to build more stories and the rocks could actually hold a lot more weight than originally thought. There are many different kinds of religious and cultural buildings here, churches, temples, and sacred places along with many food vendors who support the mixed culture of this city. Atop each building, and north-facing walls, there are solar panels and below the rocks attached to them are windmill-like constructs, helping to generate energy for the city to use. Travel between rocks is via gravity boots, roots are used as road guides (right = up/left = down), however, between cities solar-powered ships are used. Making sure to keep the conservation of dragons key to the planet, there are dragons recovery centres and yards that have been constructed and are thousands of years old (no longer in use). These are now used for parking of ships and trades.

Districts

There are several pods that are represented in Enlil, however, the two more well-known is the Slokacism and Hallowed Belivers. Slokacism is a group of people who believe in a single creator who lives outside the Universe and creates all these places for exploration. They are accepting of all those who enter their pod, in general, this religion is accepting of all types of beliefs, and one common greeting of this religion is to bow to one another. Hallowed Believers, one of the biggest systems in the Universe, have a community here in Enlil. This specific sub-group of the religion is connected with the energy of the Universe, they can feel the reminisce of the creation of the Universe and where the Hallowed is in the grand structure. They live peaceful quiet lives, they love to learn of other belief systems and enjoy having people come into their pod for honest conversations, saying "i see you" is common in addressing this sub-group.

Assets

One of this city's greatest assets is the wealth of knowledge in spirit. Unlike other cities with scientific technology and sophisticated plant life, Enlil has strength in community and interpersonal connections. Valuable places within this city are religious grounds, churches, temples and the like.

History

When Enlil was created, at first to help with housing those who wanted to help the pioneer with recovery of the dragon pieces that lived here. It became a place where some would find refuge from their own civilisations who'd outcast them for not following their general religion of beliefs. As the other cities started to form and the recovery of dragons became more stable, the city grew into it's own haven.
