Prideful and territorial, the Garuda are known to attack any who approach them and their domain. Few live to tell of an encounter with a Garuda so they are generally left alone except by those Icarus seeking their claim to fame by defeating one. Otherwise, the Garuda are treated as a sacred creature and generally protected.
